China Water Resource and Hydro Power Engineering Consulting Corp. (CHECC),
China Hydropower Engineering Consulting Group Co. (CHECC), formerly known as the Administration of Water Resources and Hydropower Planning and Design (AWRHPD) acting as a government administrative agency responsible for engineering and construction of the water resources and hydropower projects nationwide, was established upon the approval of the Chinese State Council. CHECC has a development history of more than 50 years.
CHECC,. It is also deeply engaged in development, investment, operation and management etc. of hydropower and new energy projects as well as the related industries.
In the recent 10 years, CHECC has carried out design, consulting service and E&M equipment completion for hydropower and water resources projects, urban public works and highways in more than 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe
The 3600MW Jinping Ⅰ Hydropower Station in Sichuan Province China, planned, investigated and designed by CHECC in 2005, The arch dam 305m is the highest in the world.
