CONSTRUCTION WORK PROGRESS Construction work - main stages:
  •  
    • Project area clearance: Completed
    • 22kV transmission line construction: Completed
    • Access road and access bridge construction: Completed
    • Civil work: 80% completed
    • Forebay: Exavation completed.
    • Weir: Left bank  concrete construction started
    • Water Way: Under construction
    • Power House: Excavation 90% completed and foundation work to be started soon

The 7.4km long transmission line, built in accordance to EDL standards and requirements, will not only transport the Nam Nhone production from the power house to the Bokeo province power grid, but will also be used during the construction period to supply the construction site with the necessary energy to power the construction equipment. Local villages benefited with their first ever electricity supply soon after the line was completed in 2007.
